How long does it take a new blogspot appear in search engines?

    If I create a new blogspot blog and make some posts, how long until those posts will show up in google? I know building a regular site takes a week or two.

    You know I created a blogspot blog once and I don't think it ever got indexed, hold on let me check just in case..........1.......2.......3........4......5, Nope not in there.

    Really, it takes anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to get listed. DO a search for URL submission to Yahoo, Google, MSN, and dmoz.org

    Obviously you need to create relevant content to do well.

    It depend on quality of your content and backlink.
    If you have backlink from high PR site,then your post will index by google within 23 hour

    It's depend on you mate..if you have backlink from quality site your blog will appear as soon as possible..so when you make a blog do not forget to link building

    I know come on people. Get a wordpress theme, some ad free, free hosting and set it up. If it grows buy some premium hosting from like godaddy and your set. Oh and BUY a domain. DO NOT use a blogspot domain.

    I do not understand what is the harm in using free hosts like wordpress and blogspot for blogging.

    If the content is good and one intends to write frequently and market it well....will it really matter if you do not have your own host?

    Apart from the difference that the person has not made initial investment, what else differs...?

    Can anyone throw more light..please

    I have my blog. It takes from a few weeks to a few months to get listed by search engines. My blog 3 months old. I have 935.000 Alexa. And i have about 150 posts in my blog now.

    Hi RighMan, it´s nothing wrong by using a free Wordpress blog or a free blogger blog.It is stupid to do so because your blog can get deleted without any warning even if it is a good blog with quality information.I have seen this happen to many people.Why take the risk?
