We run a small wireless Internet company in Spain and I am stuck for ideas on how to get it ranking in Google. I was trying to add as much content as I could so started a while back to add local news and keep that upto date but I released that it is not going to help people find the site when looking for Internet access. It does rank well for the news stories though and I do receive traffic from people looking for information related to them. I have been adding it to directories on and off but there are a lot of conflicting views on this. So does anyone have any tips or advise for me on content ideas or any other SEO? Thanks Sav Internet access Spain
You really need to work on SEO. Your title and description is not appropriate to SEO point of view. You need to do some keyword reasearch on your market and then make proper title and description. In addition making good backlinks and many off page promotions can be done to help site to be visible in search engine rankings.
Hi, what's domain name and age? if you are referring w/ ur signature link, i found out that it lacks some backlinks. You could get SEO assistance SEO practitioners (like me ) so that it could increase the "strength" of your site on Google. You could PM me if you want or you could do it yourself. Directory submission is not enough, i guess.
This time content is the first thing important then seo. A unique good content helps alot. And yes relevant backlinks are must to get high rank in the search engines.
Although your basic site is ok, it is missing SEO focus. May I suggest that you consider making the following changes: Keyword phrase: Wireless Internet Service Provider <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en-gb" lang="en-gb"> <head> <base href="http://www.costacomms.com/" /> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Wireless Internet Service Provider Spain: High Speed Internet, Internet Phone Service & Wireless Internet Access - CostaComms</title> <meta name="description" content="CostaComms wireless broadband service surpasses all other wireless internet service providers in Spain by delivering high speed internet and internet phone service" /> <meta name="keywords" content="Wireless Internet Service Provider Spain CostaComms" /> <link href="/feed/rss.html" rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS 2.0" /> <link href="/feed/atom.html" rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml"... Next, I would create a "CostaComms" logo (image) and then adjust the <h1> tag as followed: <!-- BEGIN: HEADER --> <div id="ja-headerwrap"> <div id="ja-header" class="clearfix" style="background: url(http://www.costacomms.com/templates/ja_purity/images/header/header1.jpg) no-repeat top right;"> <a href="http://www.costacomms.com/" title="Wireless Internet Service Provider -- High Speed Internet Access Across Spain"> <img id="logo" src="images/CostaComms-logo.gif" alt="Spain's Wireless Internet Service Provider & High Speed Internet Access - CostaComms" border="0"> </a> <h1 class="logo-text" style="margin: 0 0 0 0">Wireless Internet Service Provider for High speed Internet access</h1> And then carry the keyword phrase into the body as followed: <table class="blog" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tr> <td valign="top"> <div> <div class="contentpaneopen"> <h2 class="contentheading"> <a href="http://www.costacomms.com/Front-Page/welcome-to-costacomms.html" title="CostaComms Wireless Internet Service Provider" class="contentpagetitle"> CostaComms - Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP)</a> </h2> <h3>Spain's High Speed Internet Access Provider<h3> <div class="article-content"> <p>CostaComms is the provider of <b>High Speed Wireless Internet Access</b> and <b>Telephone Systems</b> across Spain. Some great advice from catanich I would make the changes he says as soon as possible. Then I would increase the incoming links using anchor text. Then increase the content of the site with relevant content. If this site is for a service in Spain shouldn't you have the site in Spanish also? That would increase visitors I think. To be honest it looks like you don't actually provide wireless Internet it looks to me like you talk about it on your site but do not actually provide the service. I cant find any sign up page. It looks like the site is set up to earn from adsense. Am I wrong? If I am wrong and you do really sell this service then I think your problem is bigger. Personally I would not sign up through your site because it does not look professional. It could do with a better design.
Hi, Please check your PM. I sent you a very worthy suggestion. One I feel will definitely be beneficial. Thomas j.
First i would like to apologies for the delay in getting back to you all. catanich, Thank you for your comments i will try and get them all implemented today. regencytimberbuildings, There is no sign up page on this site that is true but we do have the product and pricing pages and advise people to contact us to arrange setup online sign up is not really possible at the moment maybe we could be more clear though I will look into this. We operate in a very expat dominated area and have gained 1 Spanish customer in 4 years so the cost of having the site translated is not at the top of our list but is on there. Unfortunately I don't have time for a complete rebuild of the site and as we do have a few sign ups through the site from people who come to us I think this will have to wait. Thomas J. thank you for the pm I have saved it and maybe take you up on it when our other paid advertising comes to an end (all offline). Thanks again Savo
