A great way that i learned myself to improve your SEO Rank is by posting your website in forums and social networking sites that you are in.

For the purpose of SEO and improving your site rank you can join / sign up, 30 different Forums and or Social Networking sites edit your profile
with your real information and put your site in there and your Signature, you can also post an Ad in the Promotional section of each forum making
sure not to break any of the rules, after few days you will be able to see the nice results.

Yahoo is very easy get a domain name that is close to your keyword and then ad a few links. It worked very easy for the "attorney links" site below on both Google and Yahoo. Try out the keyword "attorney links" if you don't believe me.

Yes, this is an easy way of improving your rank, but it's best done to rank for YOU, not a product or service. Especially considering that forum signature links and the like don't pass much (if any) value to the search engines anyway.

 

i highly doubt that forum signature will get you ranked fast. look at DP and see how many signatures each page has. most of the thread will move to second pages before even get a chance of being indexed on a busy forum. pages with no page rank itself (atleast at the beginning) and havving lot of external links dont really pass much link juice for your site to get ranked fast. if you use forum signature, use it as an addition to your existing link building strategy, not the primary

 

You can put your link in your profile, start a thread with an article and some tips and place your site or like in most forums go to the Advertising section and place your Ad, this will definitely raise your rank very fast, i've seen it happening.

wow is that it? well I need to conduct an experiment about this if this is really true. I will try all this tips. You make the SEO sounds so easy but I doubt this, well of course I am not making any conclusion yet. I should try it myself.

 

Forums are helping a lot to get a good position. But need to update regulerly, otherwise very difficult to index. But working on 30 forums can not to by single person may need to hire somebody to do it

 

If you have enough time you can, you need to work a lot on it but it pays back and it becomes pretty entertaining.

One thing i do is to set the instant email notification in every thread that i post so that way i won't get lost on the threads and also keep my forums bookmarked in a separate folder, you just need to get organized and you can do pretty well in general with forums.

 

That is a good point, I am in 4 different forums and get so confused between them, I need to get more organized lol.

 

In order to get organized with forums and be able to work with them anywhere, make sure to use FoxMarks for Firefox, this lets you save all of your bookmarks on their server and then you can access to them everywhere, that way you can access the forums easier since you have all the links.

I think it is true. The second time I set up a new site , I did experiemented and joined forums and placed my links on the profile and signatures. I think within a 2 months I got pr2.
