Server shut down for two days without giving satisfaction to customers.
What kind of web hosting is that?

Yes, server is down... is this another hosting scam? I am tired of this!!!

 

i can give u news as im in contact with owner alot.......... well i believe the main owner who had the hosting was really tired of the server as it was in such a mess so he decided to sell it on i think and hes got his own clean server now.....dats what ive been told anyway

thought id inform u as it seems u had hosting there like me

Hmmm, looks nasty. Luckily for me, i use our own hosting , to be fair to promote it, I have to use it myself...

If this is scam then at least give me the backup of my site I worked hard on it and I don't have time to start over.

What sort of website did you have?

I would also like to mention; that it is good practice to always keep a regular backup of your files just in case of this kind of thing, or server failure.*

* Something I also learned the hard way one day.

You could not be clearer. I also had to learn it the hard way: about 2 weeks of hard work were lost on a server failure some years ago, when I didn't use to backup so frequently.

Now I do automatic daily backups of files & databases (which are emailed to me and also stored on some servers apart of where the site is hosted at) and weekly manual backups too. That has saved me some hours of frustrating repeated work.

 

Yes, it happens all of the time.

Even the slightest file corruption could be fatal, if no backups are held.
