FireFox/Mozilla Hover Issue

    I am completing my first real CSS driven site and everything is working well except that a particular hover attribute is giving me grief. It works fine in IE for Windows and Safari for Mac, but not FireFox or any Mozilla browser on either platform.

    What I am trying to do is create my navbar with a block of color behind each text link and that color should change on hover.

    The specific chunk of code that I am having issues with is located toward the bottom and commented as unordered list top menu

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
