You mentioned 90% Public Releases are done wrong but you never mention how to do it right? Where can you get your press released for free and get all the necessary attention? How can you get back links with public release in nowadays?

I read a lot that PR is a good way to promote your website but from my real experience - it's not. More over, if you're looking at quality PR agent - they charge pretty high cost. I seriously doubt that it's the personnel from these PR websites that are spreading the idea of 'Press Release is good for web traffics'!

What are slides? I haven't heard of that one yet.

Also a great one although it takes more than a few days to get it going is blogging it can be a very very powerful tool if you do it right.

 

Slides are easy to create compare to article and video.

The easy way is to extract some point from your best performing article and create
a one page slide using powerpoint. Tips- include long tail keyword in title, description and comment,
submit to www.slideshare.net (You can model some of the best performing slide here how they've did it.)

Just imagine the power when you just create 1 slide per day, that probably will take you 15-20 minutes.
You will have 30 slide with 30 long tail kw driving traffic for you.

-Use keyword rich & compelling headline
-Let people know a list of benefits they can get from your website
-Use testimonial if any
-Compelling Call to action
-Is it like an article you write, just twist a little bit not to sell but announce

This is a great post. But it is much easier said that done! you just have to be very diligent and follow the plan

 

I like your plan. I think the biggest misconception in building a website is that if you build it they will come. This plan shows that work is involved in bringing traffic to your website through various methods, not just one.
