Very cool tool to easily add RSS feed to your HTML site!

    Check out: http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/index.php?s=about

You can either run it off-of their servers or download it and run it on your own server. Basically it is very easy to setup, you choose a few options and click generate javascript, it will give you javascript code that will feed any rss into your site, you can also select different CSS to go along with the feed. The only downside (if you can call it that) is that if you choose to run it form their servers, your feed will be update only every hour, so if a new item is published, it will only appear an hour later on your site. I've succesfully setup this thing on my site using thier servers. So now when I publish news in my blog, the 4 latest headlines appear on my index page, very cool :D

You may also want to check out http://www.feedroll.com/rssviewer/

It does a good job. It would be nice to get that content into your site as 'fresh content', but it only shows up as .js

The transfer to my server was not so bad I got it to work really well

Now is it okay to post Yahoo/MSN News Search RSS headlines on my site?
Or will they ask me to take them down?

Check out this site. www.feeddigest.com You can set up up to 5 feeds for free. And if you want there is code to output it in php...then add a code to your htaccess file to display that code on an html page. It works great as js will not be crawled or seen by the search engines.

I've been using www.feeddigest.com since it's first iteration, and integrate it as a php include. Yes, I can adjust the text and positioning via CSS. Occasionally, it results in a slow load, depending on their server load.
