When I do a google search for "digitalpoint", I naturally get "Digital Point Forums" link on the top, but below that there's several "sub links" (buy/sell/trade, adsense, affiliate programs etc.) How can I do similar for my site? (p.s. sorry if (when) this has been discussed earlier. I tried doing a search on these forums but couldn't figure out proper keywords for this..)
There called Sitelinks, and are generated for authority sites with many backlinks to help navigate the site.
If you use Google Webmaster Tools for your website go to Links > Sitelinks and you can block certain Sitelinks that Google dynamically generates. Google will replace the blocked Sitelinks with its next best selection. You don't have a lot of control over this, only the ability to drop the Sitelinks that you deem least relevant
You can get sitelinks by getting backlinks to internal pages of your website. They are automated but you can remove them from google webmaster tools if you think they are not good
