Is this a good idea or :-( ?

I am vying with a couple of competitors in the top Googe Adwords positions (top of the page). I am also No. 1 and 2 for many keywords in the organic results, but my competitors are nowhere.
Wondering if I could take advantage of this in an Adwords ad, e.g. 'See us top of the natural results below.' or similar.
Good idea, or will Google not like this?

Chances are your ad will not get approved in adwords with this text.

Unless you are offering SEO services, I'm not sure why potential visitors would care. Therefore, I'm not sure what benefit this would bring. Unless I completely misunderstand what you're saying.

Thanks guys. Maybe not such a good idea. It's just that I doubt many searchers stop to think that an advertiser is more likely to be established and legitimate at top of the organics than in Adwords, where you can appear literally overnight. I suppose that's the power of Adwords.

who knows. No harm give it a try. If Google don't allow, it will not approve it. If Google allow, then go for it and take around 1 week data to do your research and judge whether is this doable and profitable.

    Dont really get you.
I think you should get some screenshots so you can list, maybe as how to have top ranks ebook?
Dont understand why you need to go for adwords when you are already ranking tops :)

    No offence

Internet Marketing is all about testing. Others don't use the method, so they won't try it. Generally though, I'm not sure this would make them feel more comfortable about clicking on your ad, but I am not going to knock you for testing it.

I agree with the idea of testing it - at the very least you'll know whether or not it's worth it. I would personally NOT do it; for one, getting eyes on your ad is difficult enough, why divert the attention away and risk the person seeing an organic result that looks more interesting?

Interesting point of view ;) (+ rep added)

And of course when working as internet marketer you MUST always do testing (new techniques, new ideas, new concepts, new markets, new programs...)
