looks pretty good but you could think about getting a design related to traveling using some header/background image
I really like how you've blogged about some unusual destinations. I think your tag cloud is a good idea and it's in a great place. Overall, I personally like your site and your unique content, but I have to agree that you need a travel related theme.
The design is not bad to make the site look better you should consider getting a professional logo and adding more colors into the color scheme.
hmm i like this theme becuase it is clean and easy looking... i will think about logo/header that is good idea... i usualy make that for other people i thought it is not much important... also i realized that i can get nice favicon to...
