$15 quick, simple banner contest / Must end in 36hrs payment via paypal

Kakosi eXimator. Definitely open eXimator but right now I'm heading for bed so I can't provide any feedback for at least 8hrs from this post. Just please make sure the colours are red and my original logo is also included.

DesignCreator: looks good. I can't fault it in anyway other than to say it looks a touch simple

eXimator: thanks but not exactly what I am after. I was mainly after a red/white theme and you also added gray and black. This may make it more creative but it's not what I am after.

plugzzz: thanks mate. Again, I can't fault it. It's a nice stylish banner but it's missing that knock-out punch

Rover.SC: (via pm) I don't like it fully. What I do like is your great idea of incorporating a photo in the banner. Other than the photo everything looks fairly average but I'm sure it can be spiced up a little. Don't like those shades of red which look a little like pink to me. neverhteless yours is my favorite and only because you placed that photo taken from my website on it. Very nice touch

Guys in about 10hrs from now this contest will be closed and a winner announced.

plugzzz: thanks mate but I like one of the previous ones you did better. I don't think adding other colours made it better.

JacoArmy: thanks for the entry. It is a nice pleasant one but it just doesn't stand out enough. It is easy to read and meets the requirements but it's missing that stand out factor.

joidiamonds (via pm): thanks for the entry but you mispelled it and wrote protiens and you wrote that after direct It's not direct protiens but pr otein direct. I like the fact you used a red background which usually makes a banner stand out. I can't fault it except to say that I just happen to like another entry better because this other entry also has a photo in it.

pkx: I like the concept but not the execution. I feel the extra globe behind pr oteindirect distracts attention and makes it look a touch hard to read. EDIT: I just noticed the third one. That's the best of them all. Looks good and it's got that global theme.

JacoArmy: this is an improvement but it's still missing the knock-out punch. I've got quite a few designs that I am happy with but there can only be one winner.

I've got two finalists in mind and if you guys can do the following I could then pick the winner:
pkx_735: can you do something to your last entry and perhaps make pr oteindirect slightly smaller so there is some space between pr oteindirect and the slogan Also if you can make the lower part of the background red and then write world class proteins in white

If one of the finalists doesn't want to do the changes that is fine and in that case the other finalist wins right away.

ecovers: thanks for the entries. All are spelled wrong for proteins. They all look good though I prefer the bottom one. Very clean and easy to read.

mnuismnu: looks better though I think the font you chose is just a touch cartoony

scoopy82: I appreciate the entry but not what I'm after. The top part of the background is a touch too dark and the yellow doesn't do it for me. I was asking for a white and red theme

mnuismnu: I apologise if this is taking longer than anticipated. dp was down yesterday several times. I already received one entry from the finalists via pm which looks good. I am just waiting for pkx before declaring the winner. As soon as I get the entry from pkx the winner will be decided.

Though the last entries have been getting better and better I still think I will choose either Rover (via pm) or pkx. Rover had a great idea of adding a photo from the website to the banner and pkx entry seems to have that global theme I was after
