$15 quick, simple banner contest / Must end in 36hrs payment via paypal

Hi guys,

I need your help again. I need a new banner which come to think of it this is my first time ever I am asking for a banner.

Requirements:

Must have my logo which can be downloaded from here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/n76r69

Dimensions/resolution: 468px x 60px @ 72DPI

Keep it static in JPG or GIF format.

Must also include the following slogan: World Class Proteins

Colours: mainly red and white and if you want to add you can use different shades of red but it must look mainly red and white

Must be easy to read and must have a globe in it as to look world class

I want something similar to this image. So use this to get inspired or better it.




I don't mind if you "copy" this image above as it is mine but please include the new logo which is this one below (not the one in the bigger photo)

bizzard: thanks for the entry. It's not exactly what I'm after. I was asking you to use my original logo which you didn't. I appreciate your entry but you need to follow the instructions (my original logo has to be in it)

mnuismnu: looks good. Not quite there but definitely a contender. I normally only ask for changes once I decide on the finalists. I'm just wondering if writing prote indirect again above world class proteins was a good idea. The colours look good

bizzard, definitely moving in the right direction. The colours are right now, but the banner looks a touch too plain and world class proteins would need to be bigger (more visible).

thanks plugzzzz: it's a pleasant entry but still a little tough to judge. It looks nice, it's stylish but not quite there. the pink globe doesn't do it for me and even though I asked to use my original logo you came up with a nice display of pr oteindirect (nice font). I think the issue is it looks unbalanced somehow: really great font but the rest looks not that nice.

plugzzz: thanks mate. definitely looking better. Only change I would make is stretch the slogan world class proteins a little more accross so you have less empty space

Guys I want to close this in about 12-14 hours from this post so if anyone else is interested in taking part now would be a good time to do it. If any of you wanted to enter this but had issues accessing dp please let me know and I may extend it for a few hours.

My favorite banner so far is nuismnu and only because it has my logo in it.

Plugzzz also looks good but I think I'm still hooked on the idea of having my logo as it is placed on the banner.

a3d: thanks for the entry. It's a nice and pleasant one but doesn't fully grab me. I think the colours could have been brighter and your shade of red is a touch towards pink and I prefer more red (like in Coca-Cola red). I also think the slogan would look better under the pr oteindirect. The way you placed my actual logo looks a little distracting to the eye. The globe you designed is very nice and stylish. A nice entry but still falls a little short.

And just as a general observation I think when designing a banner you're better off using darker backgrounds as opposed to white. That way the banner stands out a little more.

 

2nd try

 

a3d looks good but still not there. My major "problem" with your design is colour. I think you could make the red look stronger/brighter. Both your designs have potential but fall a little short. I still both would look better with the slogan underneath. I know having the slogan on top is more creative but I also think you should read the logo first. I like my logo on the banner but the only thing I don't like is that reddish background for the logo. I like it but it looks more towards pink than a proper red.

Thanks a3d You keep on improving and this is the best so far. I'm going to get some rest now and will pick the finalists when I wake up. So far you're top 2 along with mnuismnu. Once I decide on the finalists I ask for some small alterations and then it's up to the finalists if they want to do those changes or not and then I choose the winner.
