90% of the sales came from a product launch. (not my product) I knew about the product around 2 weeks before it launched. Prepared for its launch and got numerous top 10 positions for its name. When launch day came around (Nov 12), there wasn't much competition, so I guess I made alot of sales because of that. There's only me and 2-3 other people competing in the SERPS. Best day was saturday, made $400+ that day. The earnings died down a bit the last 3 days, but I'm really happy with what I made and didn't expect it to last too long anyway. I just basically tried to milk the launch for all it was worth in a sense. The product commission is about $20, so yeah, it did take quite a bit of sales, especially for the $400 day. Advice: Check the newest/latest products section on cb-analytics.com - You may very well just happen to find something that catches your eye or interests you. Chances are there will be very little or even no competition aswell! Rape the top 10 with sites like "product name scam", "product name review", "product name download". Not saying this is the best way, but this is what I did. To be honest, I got most of my sales from my "product name download" pages/sites. Even though the download link was just a redirect to the sales page, it still converts lol. I also found that YouTube, DailyMotion, and MetaCafe videos also work great for product launches. I tracked the sales from my videos, and they brought in about 30% of the sales. More advice: Not making sales? Before I started making sales for all the periods shown in the screenshot, I went 4 weeks without sales, so yes, it hasn't been all good days for me. Asked for advice on Niche Choppers (Norb's forum) and some people recommended taking a break, so that's what I did. Took a break for a week or so to take my mind off of IM. Came back feeling ready to give it another shot, and here I am and I'm not looking back.
Congratulation for your success pal! Really! Well done everyone should follow this advice, take a break when you feel down own frustrated, clear your mind and then come back with new energy and ideas. Cheers!
lol, I knew you'd come out of your rut, we always do as long as you don't give up when your ship seems to be sinking. THIS is what I call a great come back!! +rep and to the rest of you, if you need a break - TAKE IT. NC.
Hopefully, you can find a way to keep it running. How did you find out about the product 2 weeks early?
Congrats on your success. How many articles you write per day and how many products you are promoting? Is this only from articles or any other means of traffic you are getting?
Good to share this info. It worked well for you this time, but I ain't that keen on this tactic. What if the product doesn't sell? You invest all this time in it ready for the launch, but then what if the product is a dud? At least if you go with proven sellers, you know they will sell.
