Hi all, pls suggest me some ways to monetize a celeb/gossip blog. I know adsense, but it doesn't perform that well in this niche. So, what are the alternatives ???
- You can sell some spaces of your site for advertising - join affiliate dating site - why not you try other PPC like bidvertiser, adbrite etc
I have a celebrity blog and I joined an affiliate program to sell celebrity posters. I don't sell many, but I don't get a lot of traffic to that blog. Clint
Yes,nowadays my blog also is not earning good with adsense. But for your problem,i do suggest you to use affiliate link. You can sign up for affiliate product and put the affiliate link at your blog,so than if people buy the product through your link,and then you will earn as high as $20/sales
You can try with PPS. Two good solution are Virtual Girl and the Celebrities Niches from Elite Dollars (look at my sign for the two links). For me VirtualGirl is converting, for Elite Dollars is too soon to say, but they have various niches and if you have more than a website is a good affiliate (pay $40 for signup and $35 for free trials).
I think adsense and CPM network is good for celebrity site. If your site have more fan, you can sell poster, album, movie ...
