    Hello,

I'd like to get some opinions on my portfolio:
    NDE Designs

Just finished it, although I still need to add some of my work to it the general website is there.

Any creative critisism would be great :)

    Thanks,
    TS

looks very nice, i think that the white view bit should be bigger and some tools would be nice.

    Hi,

Nice site - very well designed.

Only one comment really - myspacemenace.com

Me, personally - I would remove that. Given that it is no longer 'live' and looks a bit like a template, it detracts from the overall feel of the website and your work. I'm no expert... so take my comments with a pinch of salt... but thats my two pennith worth.

Loads quickly, navigates easily and the logo is good.

    Good luck with the site:)

I like that its very small and lightweight (loaded very fast).

The navigation is really simple and straightforward, but as your portfolio increases in size, you may encounter some issues.

    Some tools?

Yeah I probably will take that down once I get more on the site, for now I don't think it's doing any harm being there.

It can always be re-designed when my portfolio increases in size.

Thanks for all the comments on it so far :)

Wasn't really going for professional, more creative than anything else. I even held back on functionallity to do that. It is a portfolio afterall.

It is simple and nice concept ...though some suggestions , make attractive logo which could go along with theme, try to use slightly different color in header... and try to search some good css galleries and web 2.0 application galleries and you will get very good idea about some addition to new design.

    Scrollbar?

Yeah, I need to make the header better, add a logo and whatever. I was more just trying to get something up online than anything else (i've been meaning to do it for a long time, just not had much spare time). I'll definately check out some CSS galleries, see if I can get some ideas of a better way to display my portfolio.

    Thanks :)

Scrollbar? What resolution are you using?

I really like the cut paper effect and how you have done your links

    Nice look.
But i guess the scratched border is not suitable with overall elegant looks on your page.

The links are something i've done for years on sites now (I assume you mean the menu links?), just something I picked up I guess.

It looks elegant? Really, you think so?

Thanks to everyone, I appreciate all the comments about it. I'm going to be looking into different ways of displaying the portfolio data, probably check out some CSS galleries for some ideas, should be fun.

Personally I wouldn't use Arial Rounded as a header font. I think you may have an issue with placement of your thumbnails as well. Right now there are about million and one blogs out their that placed their ads on the right like you have with your thumbnails. Some might just see them as that. You might want to rearrange. Also, I wasn't a big fan of how the thumbnails are pushed together on the portfolio page. Looked kind of lazy. Might just be me.

I like it... simple design... easy to get around. Possibly work with a better font for your header and also the layout of your portfolio... I can see what you're wanting to do with it. It will look much better when you have more project finished and up in your portfolio. But when you have a lot of projects up, this may look messy and uninviting for people to want to check out your work.

    nice work!

I liked the websites you designed.

I would suggest adding a little more content though; the content you have looks cool, but more variety wouldn't hurt.

    Just my two cents.

    Thanks

Well...I will add more as I complete more jobs. Although at the moment I don't really have time to do much (so am not actively seeking work, but would probably accept if someone contacted me about doing some simple work).
