Here's my 2 cents on your landing page:

    The testimonials
Are they seriously real? They just scream "This is fake!" to me.
For example "I was down and out, couldn't hold a job or a relationship... But his eBook changed everything!" - not only does that seem like an incredible exaggeration, but isn't the point of making money online to avoiding "holding a job"? It just seems contradictory.

    The spelling mistakes
Spell check was invented for a reason ;) Here are a few mistakes I just picked up on after skimming what's written:
    • untill
    • consitantly
    • shoked
    Swearing/Colloquialism
I'm all for informality but using phrases such as "Make SHIT LOADS of Money!" is an instant turn off. This may be more a personal gripe, and maybe other people don't feel the same way.

    Positioning yourself as a liar
In your sales copy you write "give away the secrets I swore to never tell anyway" - to me that just suggests that you're either a liar, don't actually have any "secrets", or are in some type of financial trouble so you've had to make a product.

    The focus of the product
Is there a focus of the product? You say the user will learn "The Ins And Outs Of Search Engine Optimization" but something like SEO Book would surely cover more then you would. Then you also say that users will learn "How To Get Massive Amounts Of High Quality Traffic... FREE" which either ties in with SEO, or further pushes the product to a lack of focus.

After reading the sales copy I honestly don't know what I'd be buying. I seem to be buying an eBook with some SEO tricks, a bit of traffic generation advice, and also in there some ways to make money online. But you're making me think. Never make the customer think, make them act.

Actually Dave. I didn't design the site or star in the video.

However i think the main thing is the e-book. And i think it will perform. It is very specific, showing proof etc etc.

A review has been sent out to professional dude.

On an affiliate publisher note. Is creating a hoplink enough? Or do you think banners and text links must be done aswell? etc etc.

Instead of typing trash. You should do something useful with your time.

Like i said, even if i crashed and burnt, my work over the past few years ensures, i wouldn't be worried.

    Have a good day. :)

I don't think that makes any difference.

There are some huge problems with the landing page (as I stated previously), and they need to be fixed.

It doesn't matter how amazing your eBook is, no one will even consider buying it with the current page you have setup.

I got a review copy after asking for one by PM. The e-book is a 20 page PDF document. Giving great stragies on ezine articles and youtube. The grammar is okay nothing special. But direct links are provided to videos and articles and a lot of screenshots. Also a great passage on natural SEO. Its very good. It must be working, it seems easy to do. Quite impressed by this.

Thanks for the review, affiliates could do well with this? maybe. I think probably.

    9/10 in total.

    Very easy to read.

p.s : i was using graboid at my movie/tv streaming sites and by this method today i double my profit, if you own some streaming sites you can earn more with this method!

This is very similar to a product that I was going to release next summer. The only difference is that I had decided on a 7% conversion....maybe 8%. :D

chum112, I know this community very well and believe me - no one wanted to bash you, no one wanted to make your life harder and no one is jealous.

In fact, many people who replied to your thread are publishers with great products, great copy and good traffic - so they know what they are talking about. If you look at the past 10 pages of this section, there were 101 products lunched recently.

When I read the title of the thread I started laughing, 6% conversion? I think there is no such thing. There are some AMAZING publishers on Clickbank who made millions, these guys are the best from the best and I think the highest conversion rate ever achieved is about 4%... even that is incredibly high.

First off, you should have never mentioned the conversion rate. No matter how GREAT you think your product is - you can't predict such thing. It is simply impossible.

Second. You come in here trying to show yourself off as an expert - when you clearly aren't. Blaming your web designer for spelling mistakes in your copy is unprofessional. If you were a pro - you would make sure of all the details before ever making the site public. Sure, some mistakes happen; such as a bad link or a typo - but not the amount you had.

Last but not least. Professionals do not take criticism (such as posted in this thread) as bashing and get all pissed off. They take it as advice and try to fix their mistakes, try to see WHY people are saying it. When you think something looks good but 50 other people disagree - you might reconsider and find out more details.

Good luck with your IM ventures, nonetheless.

    Alex

OMG what a ridiculous statement. Goals and facts are two different things.

Before making outlandish statements, how about testing conversions yourself.

    What a crazy idea!
