With the recent delisting of Idearc (a YP and SEM firm) from the stock market, I have taken it upon myself to capitalize on their downfall. Since yesterday, my site now comes up number one for many terms related to their information. It's all white-hat techniques and has really swarmed in a great amount of traffic. Anyone interested in help with SEO can ask me. I'd love to help.

    some examples

    idearc rumors #1
    idearc delisted nyse #7
    idearc marketing #8

    and several more

Thanks for advertising but you can share the techniques here unless you are just interested in 'selling' your services. :) It's interesting to see people keeping up with latest trends to find the niche for their website.

    Thanks for the reply :)

I feel that good seo information is valuable and share my good stuff with people that can give something in return. Whether it be knowledge, a backlink or subscribing to one of our service plans.

You can't leanr this stuff in school, so it has to come from self research.

Question for all. Is the use of their brand name 'Idearc' white hat, black hat or just fair game?

And just because they got delisted, doesn't make them less of a company, it just lets the hot air out of their marketing.

You actually raise a good point about the term "Idearc". However, i feel it is still whit-hat because I only offer information that employees, customers and investors want to know about as Idearc will not post much of the information themselves on their own sites.

You do realize that they are the advertising company that handles Verizon yellow pages don't you? RH Donnelly is next in line to fall. They are at&t and dex yellow pages company. Being delisted from the stock market does not make them less of a company. The fact that people use the yellow pages less than ever makes them less of a company and in turn effects their stock.

So where are the "White-hat SEO Techniques With Examples"?
The title is misleading. It should be "Yo, check my site" or something like that.

I usually don't charge to teach. I charge for the service. However, you tell me what you think it is worth, and then we'll talk.

I can tell you this, it's more than a single step technique. There are several things that must be lined up.

For my seo customers, I employ a 140 point SEO combination. Not to say that this technique requires quite that much, but does require a some effort. Some of it is , "No shit, I already knew that" and, "Huh...., I never knew that one", techniques.
