Can't deside Red or Black???

Definitely BLACK! The red is making my eyes bleed

 

In my opinion its never a good idea to use red as a dominant color in web design, as it evokes angriness, creates tension and excitement... Consider how red is used in language: redneck, red-hot, paint the town red, seeing red etc...

I would say Black provided you make your site have rounded corners

 

How can I make the banner have rounded corners?
I need a photoshop expert....
I think I should start a new threat about it....

 

Just open the banner in photoshop and paint the corners black to make them appear rounded. Quite simple really.

i like red on black. i think the all red is too much red.
black and red give nice contrast.

I didn't do that with the footer because I didn't actually create the site, I bought it.

 

The red one is definitely better unless you can change the background color of the header to black. Then it might fit better but the way you showed it red is the better option.

I would also prefer black.

It looks more presentable. The tabs which are for navigation should be like the ones which are in the sidebar i.e. some what rounded.

 

My choice is the black. Good contrast

I'd go with black. Better contrast. Separates the background from the body.

 

I would go for black if you can change your title backround to black, if not I would go for red. Seems like I am in the minority
