A romantic dinner. If you have been deprived of some private time with each other, his birthday may be the perfect time to rekindle the precious moments you've once shared in your life.

From my point of view a perfume bottle or a wallet or a watch is best for husband's birthday ;)

A Harley Davidson, a Jet Boat, a 70" Lazer TV, a lifetime subscription to a carton of beer per week, a brand new set of golf clubs.

Making him his favorite meal and maybe giving him something he has been wanting would be a good idea.

No, don't buy him cologne or deoderant, that's just rude implying he smells bad. It's different with every couple though & you should ask one of his close friends.

I guess it depends to on how much you want to spend.
Some idea (depends on his hobbies) but what about a joy flight (plane) hot air ballon ride, day driving race cars.
Think about his hobbies and work around that maybe.

I hope he has a lovely day :)

A book ...I have always thought books to be perfect gifts. They teach you something, they bring out emotions, they last (if you treat them well :)) and they show how well you know the person, by the book you chose to give him/her.

Try to spend as much time as you can with him on his birthday .. I think so thats the best gift for a husband .. Try to cook something special or something he loves to eat ..
You can still gift him something like his favourite perfume or a branded watch or maybe a visit to his favourite place

A nice cigar always goes down nicely.

    Or something unique.
