I am done writing for nothing. I am a good writer and work hard on my articles only to have people drip over a measly dollar. Its worth the dollar, write them yourself and you will see!

400 words will be $4.50 and 500 words will be $5.50
550 words will be 6 bucks and 600 words will be $6.50

These are quality written articles. I write them myself. Check my feedback and you will see. My fingers hurt and my hands hurt from this typing. I won't be writing articles for so cheap anymore.

No reviews unless you plan on buying one and paying for it!

Don't buy trashy articles. By the good kind. English is my first language!

Shouting at my customers? Hardly....I set my prices and I am tired of people contacting me,telling me they want a bunch of articles and then saying they want to pay me 2 bucks for 500 words.
So I dont know what your seeing. Maybe I should edit it a bit more. Anyways....

Whats that have to do with not even getting minimum USA wage because people want to pay 2 bucks for a 500 word article?

I agree with this post. People don't realize how long it takes for us to really sit down and write a GOOD article, only to have newbies willingly waste their time writing 1000 words at .0000001 cent per word.

You only get what you pay for.

this is very true. You work hard to write high quality articles, and then you see the jobs go to someone who apparently has no bills to pay, or something. I guess if they are willing to work for nothing, than it is their personal choice. It sure makes it hard for the full-time writers, though.

I totally agree with the tone of the article too. It has suddenly become a norm on DPF to get a 500 word article for $2. I think most of the times it is reseller's who ask for this cheap rates, people who care about quality would never think about paying $2 for a 500 word article.

English may be your first language, but correcting the errors of punctuation and spelling that I see here would enable you to sell your articles for much more than you quote.

maybe I do not blame the newbie writers...i have invited some writers at their rates to come write for me, and yet they do not show up..so maybe they do not need to be complaining since they do not need the work that bad...people complain and gripe on what others are charging but do not show up yourself for the work...So I have invited the op to come write for me on my forum, Article Marketing Forum, and have yet to here from him.

There may be some,I never said I was a pro only a good writer. I am learning quite a bit about all this as I go along.

Show me where my spelling and grammar errors are, dont just come in blab and then run off.

If you are selling your services as a writer, and using the fact that English is your native language as a selling feature, then I would expect a higher standard of writing than you've exhibited in this thread. I also visited your blog; sadly I didn't see any great improvement there either.

As to explaining the errors in your writing, here are a couple of things for you to be more aware of,

    1. a comma always has a space after it
    2. by and buy are not the same word
    3. your and you're are not interchangeable, each has a specific purpose
    4. "for so cheap anymore", this is not a properly constructed phrase, perhaps dusting off your high school English language text books is needed.

    You know all of this?

May I recommend that you start writing your blog and forum posts with the same level of professionalism that you suggest you do with your clients. I know it can be tempting to think the two are separate but serious buyers with more money to spend will be looking at your blog, they will be studying your forum threads, and they care very much about how you act in this forum.

You are right and I have been thinking the same thing for the last week. See I don't put much effort into my posting here but I put more effort in than most. Honestly I do proof read and work hard on my writing so it is much better than my posts in some cases.

My blog is going to be worked on soon. I have put it off while I am getting some other things done. I plan to do better on it and some SEO also.
