Hi DPers, I always thought the keyword tool provided by Google and other sources is not all that they could be. So I created a keyword tool that makes use of data from Google's Adwords Keyword tool and Google Sets. A really effective keyword tool should generate semantically related words and their search volume, so I am currently working on combining link text from wikipedia's articles with this data and make a even better keyword tool. Give the tool a whirl. Tell me what you think. Please tell me how I can make it better. http://www.themingschool.com/keyw/ Thanks in advance! With Regards, Raj
hmmm, pretty cool, but I don't understand why you'd bother when Google already has this sort of tool available. Just use https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, that'll do everything this will, right? Another thing, you don't specify the country that the search volumes are specific too. Being able to change that would also improve the tool.
Thats a good concept you have there. My experience with google sets has not been that great, it works fine with brands but messes up with verbs etc. A start-up called powerset/powerlab was trying to use wikipedia to answer natural language queries. In case of keyword tool, I would rather go for google trends and I would also let users choose their target geographic region.
@Sarah: He is using the google tool along with google sets to find other relevant keywords that you might be interested in. The point about country search volume is something that I also look forward to get.
excellent job. I think so you do best for keyword suggestion. but my small suggestion second and third row what indicate. so people can understand properly. means it shows competitor or avg volume, this month volume, or what. you are understand what can i say. after this work has been done then your tool is make more excellent. appreciate your work.
