With my website, im using "Segoe Print" as my Font for h2 titles When I access the website (Quote Maniac) it shows up But ive used this program that shows websites in different browsers, and its showing up as the default, Times New Roman I think Please help me out if you can, thanks!
Try using sIFR 3. The font probably won't be on other people's computers so you will need to use it to show up. Watch this video tutorial, it's really good: http://css-tricks.com/video-screencasts/39-how-to-use-sifr-3/
You shall check whether other browsers support such font, and if not, the browser will show the text as the default font style.
or an easy way to do it (assuming that this is for a header of some sort, and not the full text) would be to create a small banner where the background color was the same as the website and just plop the text in. edit: but in the video he mentions, and I totally didn't think about it, using an image wont allow for SEO, but this still acts like text.
It's reading this article on web fonts and CSS3: http://www.css3.info/preview/web-fonts-with-font-face/
You can also choose a secondary font. So if the user don't got the preferred font, show Arial or something. like: font: 11px Segoe Print, Arial;
