Hi I joined clickbank today, and put a big link at the top of one of my music sites (about 1000 uniques a day). I only see 9 clicks reported by CB, is this a normal number or do they update the stats infrequently?
Don't put a link, put a nice banner, if you can. That will attract more clicks, and make sure the product is related to your website.
I tell ya, I put a text link in a big bright box and out of 1,800 pageviews got only 25 clicks! OUCH.. I don't see any banner for the product I'm advertising, should I make one?
I think clickbank is not for you. Contextual advertising is not the best way of promoting the majority of clickbank products, if I where you I would place a banner from COPEAC, a CPA network...I link them in my sig.... The difference is that CPA networks pay per action or lead instead of per sale, so for you to get a commission your visitors dont have to buy anything from the site, but just submit their emails, their info, download something, or sign up for something...so yeah conversions are A LOT Greater. A simple email submit offer can pay up to $2 per email submit and other offers pay $15 - $30 and it goes up to $150...so check that out and good luck!
I think its relevancy that matters the most. If you add a weight loss banner on a Music website, you would hardly get any clicks. You should place ads about Music instruments and lessons to your website to get maximum clicks and conversions
