Hi all, I want to start an autoresponder business. The problem is, I can't find the script. If any body knows which autoresponder software work good, please let me know. Secondly, let say I have found the script, do I need to have my own server? Can I just share with my current hosting. Just like norabots.com has done ? Thank you

I was thinking of doing the same thing at one point and got a nulled version of the Alstrasoft to test it out. In the end I dropped the project as the legal issues around spam and the like turned me off. Yes, you need your own server for that. Get a VPS at least because sending out a lot of email messages are using a lot of CPU and memory resource. The problem using shared hosting is because they have a mail server restriction. For example, Hostgator limit to 500 messages/hour. Maybe you have read before that you can throttle down the mailing speed but this can only apply if you're using the autoresponder script just for your own use and not by offering other people your service.
The main problem you will have will be to whitelist your ip addresses with big providers like hotmail or yahoo, and that is something very, very difficult. Otherwise all your emails will end up in the spam folder. It's not an easy business...
hurm, i see, i am using norabots now. Its good but the service is suck, I send them email but no reply, now the server is down. (since 1 week ago). Reason to : 1. aweber and getresponse not supporting paypal (not everybody got cc) 2. fees is high That 2 main reason, so anybody want to carry out this idea, please proceed.
