I have added my websites to all the directories this guy announce here but have never seen my site (which is a top quality website) and/or other websites get approved. I guess, collecting email and also getting a little rep is the real aim here.
We NEVER spam. Most likely "if' your site is 'quality' then your actual submission didn't follow the rules (forgotten periods, over use of capitals, etc etc etc) .... We have a large network and hundreds of submissions daily so we don't have time to fix them... You can always ask via PM why it was not approved......
I have near 2000 posts here and have been actively participating in directory submissions. Never have I ever received any complaints about my submission/website and to my recollection, my websites have never been disapproved because of spam/inappropriate category selection or any other reason for that matter. I visited your signature link that reads 34 free deep link directories and randomly visited your directories. I invit everyone to visit the link and take a look at the directories. Most of the categories are empty or have similar links and that too hardly 4-5 of them. I am not trying to say that you should approve all the links. I encourage quality control and I only submit to directories that do not contain links pointing to adult, pharmacy, gambling and other such websites BUT, I believe that before you announce like 50 new directories, pending links should either be approved or disapproved. Also, I did PM you but never heard back from you, so at any given rate, that PM thing also goes down the drain.
I believe 90% of submissions are by the same companies who do not follow rules and just submit. Thus to leading to the same sites that get accepted. It's a shame, because many people pay these companies for quality submission services, yet they do not even take the time to review the listings they are submitting. I have PM'ed you now, I never received any PM, but that could have been when DP was having db problems. Also, most of our directories are only a couple - few months old, thus many empty categories.
