I have www.puters.biz which is an Ipod & MP player electronics amazon store. I wish there was a good way to promote it. Its been around awhile and sold several items but just isn't moving real good lately.
That depends entirely on the product you wish to sell and your budget. Google Adwords can be tricky to figure out. Do not dive straight in at the deep end or like the above poster says, you WILL end up burning your money if you do not research your product and keywords properly. Some keywords in PPC cost more than others, for instance 'loans' and 'insurance' related keywords tend to have more competition than a niche keyword, therefore the price per click will be higher and there is a higher chance you could get tempted into entering a bidding war, which would be silly. There are tricks to get your bids down, Google tends to reward those sites with a good quality score, meaning it goes off the content of your site, loading times, and CTR% of your ads. If your quality score is bad then in some instances you will see a minimum bid of probably over $2-3 per click. I dont think PPC will work very well together with an Amazon astore unless you know of ways to control the content you are pulling or the content you are pulling is good for Adwords ads in terms of relevancy. However, I dont use Astore so I dont know TD
Before sell , would be better to do quick research on what people interested on , you may use wantitnow @ ebay , shopping.com top search keywords , then may start sell over classified ads or write short article/blog it ..
Nice sharing. Hope that many others will share something useful with details. Apart from that, article marketing can be one of your choices to promote that item.
Good idea but you can also try using an astore and going for a ranking in the serps. I haven't tried it yet but I am going to soon
