I am in bodybuilding competitions and I would have to say that six pack abs are mostly made by diet. You need to get on a diet that will lower bodyfat % and do high intensity interval training cardio and you will lose bodyfat. I also recommend training the ab muscles just like any other muscle and making them stand out more defined you have to do weighted exercises in the 8-12 rep range for best muscle growth. do NOT train abs every day like this though or any other small muscle because rest is how you grow.
