If myself and a family member share the same computer and same IP address, but maintain separate user accounts, will we be banned for Duplicate Accounts?

This has happened to a friend of mine and I am curious to hear the procedure regarding this.

    Thanks.

Make sure you don't leave each other rep, post on the same sales thread, or leave each other itrader.... and I suspect you will be ok. Which one of the above did your "friend" do?

mjewel has said the right thing to do. Members having the same IP addresses is common in DP such as the one you exampled and companies with their office workers having to share the same IP as well. Just try to follow what mjewel had advised and you'll be alright. ;)

Haha, I promise that it is indeed not me! This happened to my fiancee to be more precise, he and his brother were running contests together under the names moyopoyo and watterbottle. They were posting in the same thread, I'm sure.

I'm taking over for them as I live in a different state and we're being careful this time. Any chance they'll be taken off the ban list?

    I appreciate your prompt response.

Nope. Banned by multiple accounts means that your account is banned forever. :)

Just inform about the same to any Mod here (online) once your family member registered here from same IP address as you.

You can find mod list here.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php

Take care that you both never exchange iTrader,Reputation with each other as well as bump each others threads.

    DON.

And do NOT run contests, make sales, etc. for other members. Doing business for a banned member to get them around the rules will indeed mean you risk being banned.
