Free SEO tools?

I used to use a free site by Jim Boykin that had a "Cool SEO tool" that would look up for a given keyword and site, the site's position on google, yahoo, msn and then list the top google sites including a range of info on them (number of links, age of site, .edu links etc). But he made it a private tool and charges a big subscription fee to get to his tools.

Does anybody know of anything comparable that's freely available or not too expensive?

 

SEO Quake is awesome...also firefox web developer toolbar can be helpful if you are trying to design seo websites.

 

What do you mean for seo tools?

Is that an application or a software? Or a seo tips like the seobook?

i just tried wordpot and I'm intrigued. To quote my own blog post on them:

As you know seo is not only technology but also an art.

Seobook.com is the great site and you will learn a lot about SEO. Very reliable service

There are many tools if you talk about an SEO tool..i have some good suggestion to make for some good and free SEO tools..

For keyword tool i prefer http://www.serpanalytics.com/tools/top_keywords

for google datacentre tool i prefer http://www.serpanalytics.com/tools/dc

They are more reliable than anyother that i have used till date...

 

i find websiteoutlook good.

 

Several of these site that have SEO tools don't give the correct answer and are slow...

 

There are no free lunch ,just do your job to improve your site
