But there are any force against your choice of culture selection. Now gen next is give up their own wealth, they are rushing to follw other. You can't avoid our culture in which we learn to respect and obey elders.

At last I think you should be with the world, but must remember your own wealth and keep your culture in hand because it will become your plus point not minus. Obey parents, don't neglect them because they have also some exceptation for you before you have identify you. You have to talk with them that what you want to do, and why it is needed and where the world is going. Because a talk can solve all problem. Then you see that they will be besides you. Then you can fight for your dream with all and unity is strength.

yes indian has lots of cultures each state has thier own language and culture, and other sub culture, india has muslim s, hindu, cristians, sikhs, and has 22 main languages, other more

 

I'm guessing you are from some small town or village. Not many follow the joint family system these days, atleast in the city I live in.

 

I do accept the role of politicians too...But then it was imperialism and colonialism which paved the way to all these things.India is a democracy and a secular state.Quoting a few instances of murders, rapes and corruptions cannot prove anything here.By all means India is a heaven.

Well, I'd like to define a completely different culture, which I don't have much knowledge about, 'MYSTERIOUS'.

 

Although India is better than most countries to live in , the recent rise of religious fundamentalism is a cause of worry. Many things which we thought would never occur in a modern secular India has raised its ugly head in many states. The persecution of the minority Christians in many states have left a deep scar, the beating up of North Indians has created two sets of Indians now.
These groups which I believe is very small in number is holding India to ransom. And they are taking law into their own hands and spreading terror among the minorities. The one billion strong population does not seem to do anything to reign in these elements because most of us are not bothered as long as it's happening to someone else and not me.

 

India has always famous for it's culture. Elders and the respect for elders is a major component in Indian culture.

Did you read about the 3 law college students who were attacked by a mob, with deadly weapons, mercilessly. The police were present there in large numbers. Media was present. But all of them seemed to be happily watching 3 students getting beaten up by over 40 students in broad daylight. There is so much caste related hatred everywhere in India. I certainly can't see any unity in diversity.

Earlier in the day, a bus was burnt in Chennai.

yes i was that some guys had beaten two guys , I cant believe on it, and this is normal thing but cops was there, and they couldn’t do anything to prevent or stopped this fight,
