Did Google CRASH. Is that possible.

Can't pull up google.com at all.

Yahoo, yes, and every other website - I can get all those to display. Even with closing the browser and reloading, no go for Google.

Did Google crash this afternoon? Is that even possible? Wouldn't they have computer power so their page always displays?

Google is working fine here; check your DNS providers :).

Can it happen, yes ... did it happen ... unlikely.
Either a DNS or a network problem.

That can affect just one website URL not showing up?

Would that basically leave the option for them to clear up the problem at their end before we can access Google?

So our locations show this at both sides of the USA, but working for some spots.

Could you imagine if it was a special virus that took effect at a certain time, and the only thing it did was stop a computer from accessing Google

    Google is back.

First time in years - or ever - that I remember just Google offline for me, while every other site worked.

Anyhow, can get to email again.

Thanks - nice to know from others.
