The Site owner some of you may know "Darren" aka "CougarXS" he is currently banned for bumping his thread you may confirm this with admin / mods if you wish. I have been instructed to take care of this sale on a professional level, while it is a gaming site i am only looking for business mined people for the sale,

Edit: I also needed to mention the links in the Blog Roll have generated $300- and these are for a few 3,6 month and a 1 year link. These links are to stay and will be included in the sale, The links are sending out great traffic so keeping paying links in the blog roll will wont be a problem.

Hosting costs, Running on a basic shared hosting account the bandwidth is getting to close for confort with all the traffic and will be upgraded to support more traffic. $10-$15 a month in hosting costs.

What's the cause of sudden increase in traffic?

 

Hello all, thanks for your interest.

"Price" no Reserve or BIN mentioned as of yet, waiting for stats to be updated, the affiliate system runs a few days behind, even yesterday 1000 clicks were recorded for the "Order Now" it can take up to a week to register, on the "buyers" credit card or payment method, so effectively stats are going to be running about 1 week behind depending on payment method. Hard to price without seeing exactly how much is being made. with huge traffic today tomorrows clicks may end up higher than 1000 so really is a waiting game.

Please note: Serious offers only, not looking for the highest multiplier in the world, but based on current stats its looking like this site will be making about $2,000 a month at the least to start of with. again soon as final stats come through (enough to evaluate / predict earnings) this site will be listed on Sitepoint unless a offer comes through from here.

As for the spike near the 27th (in picture above) the "Beta version" was released, and Darren had already planned ahead for this and was able to net a lot of the traffic. Even now you Google "call of duty world at war servers" Darren planned for that too and is reaping the traffic. No funny business here all legit hard work.

This game was only released today, I spoke with Darren on the phone yesterday and he explained, he saw that there were 160,000 searches a month for call of duty 5 & call of duty world at war and hardly any competition at all so he started working on this project and as more and more interest grew the traffic grew.

I can assure you all stats are correct ! (i couldn't blame anyone for thinking they are suss.. but lack of competition, a smart webmaster & hard work)

This is every webmasters dream to have a site kick start off like this, you are more than welcome to run any tests, everything is 100% above board. Darren is also happy to pay for a site evaluation if need be. A contract will also be drawn up between the 2 parties to unsure both are happy, and no one is stuffed around.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but any affiliate conversions which are yet to be paid for will not affect the new buyer will they? You state that in the next few days you expect the comission to rise, but that will all be going to the current owner and does not reflect what kind of conversions the new buyer will see.

A nice site and forum for sure, but I just wanted to confirm that the above is right.

Some orders were placed months ago and will still be yet to show up under Darren's affiliate account, as the customers will not have been charged yet.

Once the site is sold, and transfered into the new owners name, Any earnings from that sale date will be placed into their names, links will be swaped over firstly to ensure the new owners start seeing a return on their investment.

The game was shipped yesterday.. credit cards will not see the "game transaction" until about one week later, this game was due out today in the usa and on the 14th in other parts of the world.

For example if you purchased the site today, Darrens links will be removed and then be replaced with yours, In the mean time while awaiting approval from the GameStop affiliate (any sales listed after the callofduty5.tv sale date will be paid to the new owner)

Any sales after callofduty5.tv is sold go to the new owner. With record traffic pouring in there are going to be plenty more sales, all that needs to be done is an article a day to keep the site performing the same.

over the next 24 hours, there will be roughly 50 direct searches for "Order call of duty world at war" (Google that callofduty5.TV is first !) now with 1000 clicks on "Order Now" links & growing each day you can clearly see the new owner is going to make a profit.
