Was thinking about moving to VPS hosting and then I saw this.

Been with hawkhost for nearly a year and a half now and they are VERY reliable

Unfortunately its for the first payment only - though it can be applied to any cycle (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual).

I was told that the coupon lasted for the life of the hosting which is why I got it in the first place.

And I have bought it already and moving files myself because I didnt know if you guys would do it for me, but thanks for offering

 

How much for direct admin?

 

Excuse me - I mixed up a different coupon. It is for the lifetime of the account (recurring).

We don't offer DirectAdmin licenses currently, only cPanel. cPanel licenses cost $10/month for cPanel alone, and $13/month for cPanel + RVskins/Fantastico.

 

Question-Why do we need to pay extra for cpanel and fantastico(monthly??) whereby in shared hosting its free?

Indeed, the VPS isn't restricted beyond the resources.

Even though this was answered for you I'll answer it for anyone else who has the same question:

In the shared hosting environment we're the ones leasing the license from cPanel and providing it to the shared / reseller users (cPanel / WHM), while if you're on a VPS you're the one whose going to be leasing it (and therefore enabling you to have full access to every feature within cPanel / WHM).
