I am just wondering what antivirus software to use. Norton and McAfee bog down my startup

AVG Free for me too. They make it hard to find the free version on their site now though.

Yeah they don't advertise the free version as much now but its quick, auto updates and is light on the system resources compared to others.

Sorry to tell you, but BullGuard rocks. The best looking and accesible antivirus out there. Antivirus+Firewall+Spamfilter+Backup.

Check out the BullGuard forum too.

AVG for free or Nod32 is evidently the best, but not free.

I think that Microsoft AntiSpyware (currently known as Microsoft Defender) was launched like about an year ago (and it still is beta).. You're using it for several years now ? you = Microsoft's Cutts ? :p
