How To Add A Link To Just The Front Page Of My Blog?

    Hi,

    I've got a blog that runs on Wordpress and I'm just trying to add a link to another website to the front page only. Any idea how to do this?
    Whenever I add a link it gets added to every page of the blog...

    You could create a front page using a page, not a post, and then add the link to that page only, not to the footer but to the main page. That's one way I can think of to do it.

    Thanks for the suggestion einsteinsboi, not too sure if I could though because the blog has a lot of posts on it already.

    Is there some kind of modification I could make to the code of the front page?
