    1) Participate in related forums and create threads to share your travel experience, especially any unique ones that you have. For example bungy jumping, parasailing, rock climbing etc.

You can choose a sub niche within travel for example backpacker, adventurer, nature lovers etc. You should know better than me on the different sub niches to focus on in forum.

    2) Blog commenting in travel related blog. Choose a 3-5 blogs and drop in comments when there are new posts. This will capture the blogger attention and may visit your blog. You can read more on blog commenting here if you want to know the techniques to good blog commenting

Do blog commenting and posting on relevant forums to get started with so you can start bringing in some small amounts of traffic and while you are doing this also work on link building and the SEO side of things. I have found that travel seems to take awhile for SEO to take effect, even more than other competitive niches.

1- Start a Blog // Blogger is good because it get's high ranking from Google. ( Just post something once a day and link it to your web-site)
If you are able to have someone backlink with PR 3 or more help get your blog page ranked /indexed quicker.

2- Make a Lens - Squidoo is Great (FREE)squidoo.com/lensmaster/referral/ladyred129 here is a referral link for it. And if you need a good guide book my-linker.com/hop/SquidooCashMachine works great, my page is now ranked at #14 in SEO.

    3. Link Referral -
linkreferral.com/adwel.pl?oldrefid=137678 : People actually will click on to you site and give reviews. But you have to be active as well or you can just buy the ad's which are pretty inexpensive.

    4. Craigslist - Another place to place ad's but be ready to give them your phone number to open account with them. Also you will have to make different ad's for each city and delete | repost.

You could also join forums | On here you might want to add your website | Make sure you are using good keywords & fill out your tags.

Have something unique. Your site is nothing but photos with no context. I sort of question how many of the photos are even original as they are a hodge podge of sizes and border types.

If you want a photo blog, take your own photos.

Article marketing, comment marketing, forum marketing, social bookmarking... many ways of promoting a travel blog.

There are also some travelling forums which in my mind would be good places to do forum marketing. Hope they're helpful ;)

Honestly, travel blogs/sites are extremely good with search engine traffic and of course, monetizing. :D

What I would do is SEO for your site to get that all underway. Here's what I would do:

First, I would do some keyword research for related travel keywords you want to rank in.

Then I would build links around those specific keywords you end up choosing for your travel blog. You can do what people mentioned like comment on related niche sites but it would also help if you got some PR juices. You can also submit to directories , social media sites, etc to get some of their juices. Also, try to do some link exchanges with other related sites to get some link love from them too.

Once you rank on the first page in search engines of a popular keyword then you should be pretty much set with VERY good traffic daily.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions.

I highly go against joining Linkreferral.

You get pretty bad traffic from that site... sure you get a lot, but they are just doing it for their site, not to make yours better.

I agree. I tried out linkreferral back in the day and honestly, if you were to do something like that you might as well join Entrecard... though, both aren't good for "real" traffic... you'll end up with an extremely high bounce rate and lack of time on your site.
