    Hi,

    Been looking at one of my competitors who is receiving great seo ranking and i have noticed lots of blog posts coming into there sites ....

    When i look at the posts they are nothing special and are quite easy for me to generate if i decide to copy what they are doing.
    Its not spam as its real information with a simple link to there own web page.

    My question is ...
    If i want to copy this process and generate maybe 200-300 new blog posts a week which all link to 3-4 different web sites, which blog sites are the best to use?
    are there blog sites that google and/or yahoo prefer?

    any tips on this? and does this (blogs) still hold much weight in the seo world?

    thanks inadvance

    Well blatantly copying somebody else's content won't get you too far, in reality the reason why they are successful is because people go to them as an expert source. Copying what they do won't generate any traffic in and of itself, especially since they are clearly doing it better.

    ditto Gallito! Discover what they're doing and find a way to do the same thing, but do it better. For example, find sub-niches within they're dominant, expert niche and develop those sub-niches to become an expert in those sub-niches. Sounds like you've identified a nice opportunity. Build a sub-niche network that overwhelms the niche!

    I also meant to mention, Google still loves blogs. But, they are apparently backing away from free blog sites like blogger. It may be time to consider buying that hosting account and starting to build a network of blogs.

    Maybe if you would be say it on your own word then you might have a chance of being a competition for this website but I couldn't say that a new blog could compete with it since it is already established itself.

    Really? Then why don't you just make it happen? I don't think it is easier done than said.

    You can make a review of your competitor's site, but don't copy what they have done. If they have a copyright of that content, you are placing your self in a big trouble.:rolleyes:

    I think there is no article site that google and yahoo prefer. It will based on
    the rankings and pr of a certain article site.

    It does. Blog is a wonder,this is one of the best way to generate traffic to your site and also to earn extra income:p

    Blogs rock - but you need all original content for posts and you need to buy your own domain and hosting and make the meta tags for the posts SEO-friendly.

    as i understand it you dont want to copy their content more copy the fact they have loads of blogs...if yes then this is a technique I use. I have hundreds of blogs now which send targeted traffic to my key sites. i use the contentboss autoblog tool to create them works a flippen treat!

    so to answer your question;
    i use a mix free blogger hosted, free wordpress hosted and wordpress hosted on domains i have bought specifically.

    what you need to remember is;
    you need unique content, different email accounts (yahoo and hotmail easy) to host the free blogger accounts, tweak the blogs slightly when you set them up to show blogger that a human has created it, you then need a way of createing unique content and automating the posts (can highly recommend taking a look at contentboss.com search around as there are discount codes out there), remember the URLS must not only link to your site but others to make the blogs look more real.

    good luck, remember this is more about building the PR rank for your core site (the one the blogs will link to) but you will also some traffic back. i reckon if they are like my sites will see the money start rolling in/increasing within 8-12 weeks of the blogs going live
