Reasons why everyone hates vista 1. Its a microsoft product 2. Its sluggish 3. It seems extremely automated compared to xp (which most people who use a computer hate) 4. It is just trying to be a combination of linux and mac instead of doing its own thing 5. Microsoft XP 6. suprising lack of compatability with alot of software and hardware compared to XP 7. It is the spawn of the devil 8. Internet Explorer need i go on?
It is slow. Asks too many annoying security questions. Too much of it didn't work at first and still has too many "updates". XP works just fine.
i hate it becuase im a free spirit, i dont like the way vista basically tries to take over your experience on the computer and make it all "user freindly" windows XP was on the right mix of helpfulness but left you alone enuff to increase your knowledge by playing around with things. and i hate having to pay for software so id go 4 linux!
I was using Vista for a couple of months but it's unnecesarry because vista usees too much RAM, and for what? Just to have some new operating system and to put a lot of RAM, no way. I returned to XP again and my computer wok much faster. I will wait for Windows 7 next OS from Microsoft, I have heared that it will run on computers with 1GB RAM.
After installing Vista on a client's PC, the client called me three months later and asked for windows XP to be installed because it was giving him trouble and he didn't like the interface. Says a lot doesn't it? That lead me to removing the certificate of authenticity sticker. It's surprising what you can do with a scrapper and hair dryer .
I was really worried when I got a laptop that had it because I like XP, but it's not so bad. It's sort of annoying with all the popup "are you sure you want to do this" but I think I can turn those off (just too lazy). I've had some problems with it crashing when I use my animation programs, but those crashed in XP too. It just takes some getting used to.
I have lost thousands of dollars for the simple reason windows Vista were not compatible with most of my software and programs. Grate mind who invented,Made billions...
Was running fine and I was liking it, then one day it just went black informing me to insert the Recovery disk, lost about a week of work...That's after 9 days I bought the darn thing new.
I just bought an upgrade to WinXP disk only to find out it will not go backwards from Vista!!! GRRRRRR.
Me too! My girlfriend has Vista on her laptop, and I don't like it. It's uncomfortable, and it's nothing that great. I'd rather just stick with XP. I'm thinking about going to Mac and trying that out someday, too. XP - everything is suited perfect for it... unfortunately so are the viruses too, but that's why you get a antivirus program like AVG. I don't find Vista as flexible, either. I'll never use Vista, it's not for me. I'm an XP boi
Vista requires an extra, unnecessary step to get the task manager. Navigation between files in My Computer also takes longer. Weak sauce.
As , there are some compatibility problems with Vista during installing or running softwares , I'm totally against Vista .
