Are the publishers going to earn more from Adsense in the future?

I made the simple reasoning that the more the years go by, the more the advertising is going to land online. And, as we all know, more competition in AdWords=higher bids --> more money for us publishers

Of course, there will be also more sites and more competition between the publishers, but do you think that is it safe to assume that in the next years the number of webmasters that make a living with Adsense will grow a lot?

I know that told in this way it's too simplistic, but it's just to start the discussion...

i think that as the economy recovers and as Google continues to weed-out the MFA's and other low-quality sites, the value of it's advertising will increase - and so will our earnings..

I hope that this crisis will soon stop and then Google will increase the rates.
Crisis hit everything included Google Adsense.

 

I think it's going to be a while. And hopefully the drought will weed out the weaklings. This will make it even better for the survivors when things start picking up in a year or two

 

I don't think advertising rates will rise substantially because there is only a certain level at which advertising is profitable so companies will not keep raising their prices forever. They should still rise slowly though due to inflation.

Anyway, as the OP said, there maybe higher bids, but there will also be more publishers
