Show us Your Best Squidoo Lens

I did nominate it, soon after publishing it. Though I'm unsure if it played any part in its eventual award. Maybe it brought it to the attention of the powers that be, and they took note of it, or maybe it didn't (as I've nominated a couple of others of mine before and nothing came out of it, but I have nominated at least one other persons and it got the award).

It was the LOTD for 11th September, and it is a lens about New York. I think they decided to go with a New York theme but without focusing on the events that happened on 11th September 2001. More of a celebration of the strength and character of the city.

I just make these lenses for fun and to make some extra money. Although they are of value as a backlink, it's not the reason that I've made any of these lenses.

I'm very new to Squidoo and created my first lense this week.
I didn't really know what I was doing as it was my first lense and not sure how it would come out.

I created it on Thursday and its only been viewed three times! but its hardly a thrilling subject!

My lens isn't anything fancy, but it does the job. Grabs some nice organic traffic for me and that makes me happy.

In your lens, i did not see any affiliate links. I saw links going to hotels. Do you own that hotel? Please shed some light.
I cant believe that someone makes lenses for the squidoo revenue share.

 

All the books listed are affiliate links. Also, there is an affiliate link at the bottom of the lens.

As for the revenue share, absolutely people make lenses for the revenue share. Many of us earn into the $100's each month from the monthly Squidoo payout.
