What is the best way to write page titles?

    Can anyone tell me the best way to create page titles, specifically the title that appears at the top of the browser window.

    I've tried just writing a short sentence about the page, but then I see other people just using keywords and the site name separated by dashes. For example which of the following is better for SEO;

    Spanish for beginners with free downloads and exercises

    or

    Beginner Spanish - free downloads - website.url

    In the title you must have more keywords of each post.

    Try the first one.

    This sounds interesting, can you recommend a good tool for finding related keywords? I just did a Google search for it and a load of not so good results came up, seems like everyone has their personal favourite but I always like to get real opinions in places like DP.

    Keep titles short and specific. avoid un-necessary words and try not to over-repeat things. Use your keyword score to evaluate what the main keywords are and try to fit it into the title. If you stuff the title with keywords

    i.e. my spanish website, spain,learning,book,fun,games,whatever

    it will hurt your ranking. If you make it natural and organic i.e.

    Spanish For Beginners - Downloads, Exercises and Learning Resources for novices and experts alike!

    google will love you.
