Great thinking. Do Not Listen to "Bad News" I do it all the time I do not listen to bad new but some time a got in, it is normal. Ones I count how many bad news I hear in a day, form the new, people, family, friends, neighbors and so on. I count 386 in just a day, imagine haw many are in a year by simple going out to do your normal live. Now I triad to heard just good new, listening music like new age, classic and get away from people with bad news, I live in a better way, seriously.
And #6. Don't Quit! With so many people they give up just before they make their biggest breakthrough - just check out biographies of some of the most successful people in the world and more often than not they will tell you that their greatest success was preceded by their greatest failure. The lesson, when things look like they couldn't get any worse, be happy, it means you've almost made it!

Set Clear Goals is the best method, if the goal is clear success will be crystal clear when worked for a tried and tested plan

1) Set Clear Goals - This is very important! Especially online. If you don't set clear defined goals AND FOCUS you will drift aimlessly and will never really make any progress. And don't quit - this is huge. I'm sure we can't even count the number of people who get into internet marketing or the like that have been super excited in the beginning, but quit because they didn't give it a chance. I disagree. Setting list to follow is one of the most basic time management skills. It seems pointless at first, but if you stick with it, it will not only help you accomplish more throughout your day, but you'll be getting more traffic because you'll be more efficient. Just my thoughts.
