Hello All, what service webmaster search? If it will be possible to have a service free what type of service you should want? We are currently planning to release a new free service and we are thinking about all the possibility. We are currently thinking about a free hosting but with some modifications to the standard idea that can overcome the problems related to free hosting. But maybe we are wrong and we should work on something else. So webmaster what service will you use immediately if we will offer it for free ? Thanks

Free hosting is not for webmasters, it is for newbies to the internet marketing business or those who want personal pages. I would like a lot of things for free but i do realize that free usually means low or no quality. For this reason I stick with doing the work myself or pay for what I need.
well if your a true webmaster you just spend 50-100$ a year on some domains and hosting webstats you get via google analytic, you even can get complete free websites of all kinds. Only things that stay left are SEO related services and website building related things. My guess is some easy free SEO services that actually work will be very welcome
Very good point. I agree with you that most of the free hosting service are completely useless for professional project, but a lot of times the problem is in the package offered which is too "generous". They start to "oversell" everything and the result is very poor performances. For example a lot of free hosting websites are offering a lot more of 5 gb of space and 10 or more gb of bandwidth. Every good webmasters know that is impossible to have something like that if you are not paying a good amount of money. So, what about a free service that offer just what you need to create a good website. A good set of features that works well and fast with a reasonable limit. As we know a good website based on text and some images like a blog for example do not need a lot of space or a lot of bandwidth. It can grow a lot before it will fill like 2 gb of bandwidth per month. Will you use a service like this? Clear and reasonable features that work well. Personally I can use something like that to start a new project than I can just move to something else when I will reach the limit if I will be able to.
Ok, but could you define what a good site is? Static HTML? Forum? Image hosting, file sharing? Dynamic site that offers secure payment processing, etc?
These are some things that I typically want or need when building a site: logo/button creator high-quality images..possibly vector? landing page templates/information tutorials on html/css/php/etc. SEO tools social networking tools blogging/pinging tools That's off the top of my head - if anything else comes to mind, I will post it for ya...
I think alot of people would like a tool that allows indexing in Google within minutes. I spent alot of time figuring out how to do that.
I think we should talk about requirements. I do not think an image hosting website or a file sharing one could run on a free hosting. It's just not possible but everything else can run on it. A website with 30k visitors month based on a mix of content and images (not 1600x1200 wallpapers) consume less than 3 gb a month and his CPU and RAM requirements are not very high. Talking about a Wordpress website for example which is really common. Anyway in general I'm talking about a free hosting that can manage easily every type of open CMS if it's used for a quite successfully website. Again as an example if you have a website with more than 100k+ unique visitors a month you are not the target of a service like this. We are currently looking seriously about it and we are thinking about what kind of SLA we can manage to have from our current web farm. If we are going to realize this service we are not going cheap. It will be pointless as I wrote in the first post.

With 50$ or 100$ USD a year you can't get a very good hosting, so if you can get something better for free why not About SEO services, manual reviewing is not possible, we will see what we can do about tools
A webmaster always wants free marketing Free backlinks and free content he will need as much as he can get.
Hey you got it before me. hehe. I would really like a tool that gives me #1 in Google for any kw I want. Auto backlinks and auto content with links to my site. Thats kinda BH though. I am happy with the way I am doing it myself.
