how long would it take google to index a phpbb3 forum? fresh content added daily and sits on a subdirectory where the root has pr3? its been around 11 days now and only the index is indexed, is it something to be worried about?
i don't think there's a direct answer... it takes 4-6 weeks to get indexed in google if you submit it, but it can take 15 minutes if you put a FAT link to your website
More pages will show up over time. I wouldn't worry about the fact that just the index is indexed after 11 days.
I agree with core8284, just put some of your 'good' discussions on SB sites and your forum will start getting indexed. Get backlinks from other forums (SIG links) and your forum will be good to go.
I suggest to submit your site to New directories. i tried that before, it could not take 1 week to index your website. Goodluck
No need to worry in this case. As google takes times for a copmplete indexing to happen. Continue the effort.
it depends upon the method that you do it can take hours days weeks or months depend on your seo techniques.
Submit your site in google via the Google Webmaster Tools..... and also submit the sitemap.xml of your site... You will get the result in few days
the thing is my blog is on the main domain and is seo'd very well with sitemap,feeds,optimized titles,tags,everything,i get good traffic for my blog from google and im pretty sure they crawl my site often, the forum is just on a subdirectory and still only the index is indexed. i created the sitemap using sitemap plugin for wordpress so the sitemap plugin doesnt contain any links to the forum, could that be the problem? also the sitemap looks weird now, take a look,domain is in the sig, wonder if thats a prob, please take a look at robots aswell and let me know if you need to take a look at the htaccess.
Certainly, links and adding to the number of the sites web pages are two great ways of increasing the number of pages getting indexed and quickly.
