87,000 views and not even 300 clicks?

How can I improve this?

I believe this to be a terrible percentage? Is that correct?

you need to work on ads placement. Also merge the background of webpage with adsense ads background.

 

if most of your visitors are regular visitors, then they might have a case of ad blindness. try re-arranging the ads, trying different colors, etc..

 

generally you should be getting 870 clicks for that much of pageviews , but it depends if its a forum or a blog

 

Yes like the others have said - you either need to work on your optimization (placement, colors, etc.) or you get a type of traffic that is less likely to click.

I have adsense on both our Forum, the header of the site, including blogs.

Thanks everyone! I have looked at the optimization tips, and they have helped a bit.

 

Where are the views coming from? If the page views are coming from a "earn clicks by surfing site" or some other ppc site you can expect that.

 

You can get thousands of pageviews with forums and those pageviews do not have the quality as blogs have I think. I mean ads' clickability is very low on forums

 

my site in my sig does about the same.. the links in the blog roll and friends list get more clicks than my google advertising lol, but at the end of the day any extra earnings are all welcomed.

some niches are just low paying also, and some niches you cant do anything to change that

 

so basically you got 87k views in 3 months? That's like what? A .5 CTR? But that's pretty good for $100 for 300 clicks.

80k+ page generic impressions by humans should get you approx 600+ us$ if adsense-optimized
search THIS forum there are plenty of threads on that topic

 

is trafic legit?..you should also check your ads placement..its a big factor too..you should earn more if the traffic are legit..

Hmm i think you need to adjust your add placements to increase your earnings . I am getting 500 to 800 views daily on one blog and my earning in this stats are $060 cents to $ 5+ sometimes .
