    I just wrote an article about PHP headers, how to output different things(PHP, CSS, Javascript) , P3P , Authentication etc.

    The HTTP Authentication hooks in PHP are only available when it is running as an Apache module, so HTTP Authentication hooks ARE NOT available in the CGI version installation. You might want to note that on your tutorial.
