    I think in the checkpagerank website both have been mentioned!! i think both with 'www' and withouth 'www' will have the same page rank. :D

    Yeah that doesn't matter for pagerank but it does matter in checking backlinks.
    Most people prefer www.

    I confirm this by checking both with www and non www link in backlinkcheck.com. so it tells me which url has more backlinks
