Hi, this post is directed to people making quite a bit of money off of Adsense.. What sort of websites are you putting your ads on? Webmaster related, gaming, blogging, proxy, etc? Please share your type of website and your average income if you don't mind..
Here is an important thing to remember: Your traffic comes from search engines and the value of the keywords comes the keywords found in your page. What I am saying is that you should focus your efforts on finding low competition, high traffic keywords. Then try and focus your website content for high paying keywords. Don't do anything stupid like copy/past or MFA type stuff etc etc. I've made most of my money from game related websites. Most people know that game related websites pay TERRIBLE. However, my websites actually paid good because the game website was related to the game's economy and trade. I ranked well in the keywords related to the game. Most of the keywords are low competition but get decent traffic. When the visitors came to my website the type of ads that would show up would be related to stocks/economics/finance all of which are high paying keywords. There are literally thousands of low competition high traffic keywords out there that no one SEOs for because the keywords are low paying! For years, I did the exact opposite. I would find high paying keywords then build a website around those high paying keywords. I would try to rank for those high paying keywords. All of those keywords had high competition so I had little luck getting anywhere. Do you get what I mean?
Depends on the person. Top money making sites - Proxies - Adult websites. Simple engouth, but it depend's on the person creating them, if your interested in those topics, then go for it, but if not, it's not worth it. Your better off going with something you enjoy and know a bit about to provide good content.
There are tons of good niches. For example, health, beauty, finance, law, web services, etc. If you do some preliminary keyword research, then you should be able to focus on what you want to do. Here's a good tool from Google that allows you to estimate the traffic and average CPC for any given keyword: https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox Good Luck!
Thanks guys, all of your input actually helped a lot. ^ Are you saying that one of the best ways to make money is simply host proxy sites? Because all you have to do for a proxy site is cut and paste a script.. is that really one of the best ways? I'm not challenging you or anything, just want more info.
How do you go about finding low competition, high traffic keywords. ?, do you just use the google kw tool ?
High pay niche including credit card, loan, forex, law etc. However, you shall be good in those if you want to earn from this kind of niche since it is competitive also
good niches or high paying niches? I saw something about melanoma, or similar, that paid out crazy high!!
seems to me killer hit it on the head. i dont think anyone here will simply hand you some keyword and set you running. however using the google keyword tool you can find niches fairly simply with only a bit of effort. i use it to rank average traffic and it even analyzes your competition for you. it makes it a cinch to find high traffic low competition key words
from most of what i read above, it is to get the 'high traffic' + 'low competition' keywords. so need to find the keyword that no one else using, but have potential to for user to search with the keywords. is it true?
