Suspended from Stumble upon!

Has anyone ever been suspended from SU? I tried to login and I received a message that I was suspended. I barely use it to have done anything wrong!.. what gives!.

 

I got an email a few weeks ago from them telling me my account was suspended for breaching their terms and conditions.

Not bothered really, as like you I hardly used SU.

 

Did you submit anything recently? Maybe you submitted something against their TOS?

 

There is no problem with my stumbleupon account, did you use any software to speed up the benefit of stumble?

Just like digg, their TOS nearly the same. If you doing something that will give a bad effect for them im sure you will be banned.

 

They did that to me but i swear i never break there tos. Thought i did use it for a long time.

 

Did you have an easily guessable password? Perhaps it wasn't something you did, but someone hijacked your account?

 

I got email similar to the one those mentioned earlier. I think someone hijack my account because two days before I was suspended, I saw an email requested my SU password to be reset.

Someone had hold of my gmail account, i reckon.

I got suspended too. It used to get me quick traffic. I miss it

 

i did the same thing too. but that was months ago. they probably first caught on now

 

I don't have any problem with my SU acc even i use it for drive traffic to my site.
Why don't you contact SU to solve this issue and ask them for what reason they suspend your acc

 

they dont answer emails!

 

I got the same email from SU. I exchanged stumble upon with other before. It would be reason they suspend my account.

 

My account there got suspended too. But I couldn't care less.

Haven't been facing problems before with stumbleupon

 

Well if you can't use it "to promote a specific Web site, product or service" what is SU for??

 

I got the same suspended message.

I use to stumble people's sites on Name Pros for $NP and I think they suspended me for that, not the reason they stated.

 

Mine was suspended a few weeks ago and it had max friends ect. It was good for qwik traffic.

I think they suspended me for that reason, promoting my sites

 

I use heavily stumbleupon, never got banned. Looks like i gotta cut down a bit more.
Heads up lol.

 

Weird, I prefer Digg anyway.
