Impossible...please help

Here is the story:

THIS site ranked as high as page 1 in Google for the term c a t e r i n g **** m i a m i

Now, all of the sudden, I am on page 4 for no known reason...

DPers are great and very knowledgeable, I would appreciate any help that I can get.

This happens every now and then. It takes a little time and then everything goes back to normal. I was the fourth for a very very competitive keyword today for like 10 hours then I went back to position 110
Everything should be normal very soon.

 

to be specific possition 73 on .com, 56 on .ca, yahoo 56 and live 13

maybe it's just a glitch, so wait a bit and see if something changes, if not then perhaps the bots rescanned your back links and some turned into no-follow, there can be many other reasons.

 

It's happened before, but not this huge bounce ...It was back and forth about 10 plus or minus positions, but never pages.

Umm does the site have paid links from other sites?
Also, did you make any changes to the site?

 

how long have you been on the first spot ?
have you made any changes recently ?
have you purchased a huge amount of links recently ?

I had changed the tags, yes. could that be it??? I am still lost in space, nowhere to be found

i think its a routine. sorry but not you will be on top at all the time & you are saying that you changed tags i think they are meta tags. it harms that you change your tags in your dropping positions.

 

This may be some penalization from google.just revise the activities on the period . may be ur link site is spam. check all of yours site links, and try to improve ur SEO work. make lots off inbound links etc..
